ThriveRadar collects as little as it can. There are no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels and no visitor accounts.

Visit counts

When our server sends a page, it adds to anonymous daily totals: which page was viewed, the domain of the website that sent you (for example, google.com), and your country as reported by our hosting provider, Cloudflare. Search-engine crawlers and link previews are excluded. We also count clicks on shop links, source links, videos and podcast links. We store only these daily totals: no cookies, IP addresses, or records of individual visitors. Totals are deleted after about 13 months.

Security and rate limits

To prevent abuse, our application stores temporary, keyed fingerprints of network addresses (not the addresses themselves) for a few hours. Cloudflare also processes network information to deliver and protect the site.

If you subscribe, we store your email address, the date and the page where you signed up, and use it only to send the newsletter. The newsletter is sent through Beehiiv, which receives your address for that purpose and handles delivery and unsubscribes under its privacy policy. Newsletter emails may measure opens and clicks. Every issue has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time. We never sell or rent addresses.

Videos

Video previews are served from our own server. A video is loaded from YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) only when you press play; YouTube then receives your IP address and browser information under Google's privacy policy.

Shop links

When you follow a link to a shop, that shop may use its own cookies, including to credit an affiliate referral. What happens on the shop's site is governed by its privacy policy. ThriveRadar does not handle payments or see what you buy.

Preferences on your device

Your light or dark theme choice and comparison layout are saved in your browser's local storage. Clearing your site data removes them.
